Store Policies SECURITY: This site has security measures in place to protect your personal & credit card information during the ordering process. The information is submitted through a secure server using state of the art SSL encryption and is kept safe until retrieved by our billing department. In plain English, your information is safe with us. We will not give, sell or trade your information with anyone, you have my word on it. For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's IP address, but not the e-mail address. We collect e-mail address of those who purchase from us and from those who opt-in to our e-mail list. The information we collect is used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes. With respect to cookies: We may use cookies to record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart. If you supply us with your telephone number we will only contact you if we have questions regarding an order you have placed online. We do not share your information with anyone. This includes your e-mail address. With respect to security: We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from everyone through this site. If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy, you may contact us through the information on this site. SHIPPING/OUT OF STOCK: PLEASE NOTE: Selecting an Expedited Shipping Method does not reduce your order processing time. Upgrading your order to Next Day, or 2 Day Air, does not mean that you will receive your package in one or two business days. It only reduces the time your order is in transit. Order processing time normally takes from 1 to 3 business days for in stock items. The main reason for this is to help prevent credit card fraud. This is as much for your protection as it is for ours. In any case, orders are never processed any earlier than the next business day. Please take this into account when ordering on a Friday or the day before a holiday when calculating the estimated delivery time. Some of our items that come directly from the manufacturer could take 2 weeks or more. We will notify you if it will take longer than that. Ground delivery normally takes between 1-6 business days. If you need an item before a specific date, please provide us the date when you order. If there is a problem meeting your request, the order will be cancelled and we will promptly refund your money and let you know via email. We will not tell you that we can meet your expectations if we can't just to get your business! If an item is out of stock and is not anticipated to be in stock within one week, we will notify you via e-mail as soon as possible. We will let you know when the item will be in stock and at that time give you the option of waiting until the item is in stock, receiving a like kind item or cancelling the order and refunding your money. OUR SHIPPING RATES: We are currently offering free shipping within the continental US and for most shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.
Our shipping costs are based on weight of the item. Please note that these shipping costs are for shipments within the Continental United States only. All shipments outside of the Continental United States will be higher and delivery times will be longer than those with the Continental US. We ship anywhere within the Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada may be shipped via USPS Priority mail or other USPS method depending on the circumstances.
NOTE: Due to our recent policy of offering free shipping to within the continental US, you must contact us for shipping information to non-US destinations. Most orders to Alaska and Hawaii will also have free shipping. If there are any exceptions encountered, we will notify you prior to processing your order.
Shipping costs will be higher outside of the continental US to one of the above locations. With the exceptions of the above locations, if you are out of the Continental US, please contact us prior to placing your order so that we can inform you of the additional shipping charges. We are sorry but currently our system does not take into account geographical locations when calculating total order amount including shipping costs.
Please note that while we normally only ship to the above locations, shipment to other international locations can be made on a case by case basis. For all shipments to other international locations, please contact us prior to placing your order for the additional shipping charges. Most shipments to Western Europe will incur at least an additional $20.00 US charge. Depending on the weight of the order this could go as high as $150.00 or more. Please note that all shipments outside of the Continental US will take longer to arrive. Most of our suppliers will not ship to locations outside of the Continental US. As such, all orders to locations outside of the Continental US will be first shipped to us from our suppliers and then we will ship them to you by the most economical and expedient method available. This will cause additional shipping time of 2-3 weeks. Please plan accordingly if the item you wish to order is needed by a certain time. Normally if you select the Next Day Air rate during checkout the cost should be about right for shipments outside of the Continental US. We normally ship via UPS but also use the USPS Priority Mail. The rates for Next Day and 2 Day are higher and will be reflected in your order checkout should you chose this method. Please note that shipment costs for very heavy and oversize items will be higher. Chimes and More is not here to make a profit off of shipping. Our shipping charges are quite conservative and in many cases will cost us more than we collect. However, in order to offer such great value to you our customer, we must pass on our shipping costs. Many of our items will arrive to you directly from our various suppliers so it is important that we know as soon as possible if there is any damage in shipment so that we can arrange for a replacement item to be shipped to you more quickly.
